Meet the Officers
Flavio Signoretti President
Hello everyone, my name is Flavio (he/him) I am a fourth year electrical engineer.
In my free time I like to do a variety of things as long as I’m doing them with the right people. Hanging out while getting food is always a great plan to me, but I recently started playing pickleball. It is so much fun and I love that I can play with people of all ages.
If I’m on my own, I like to cook while listening to a podcast or some good music. I grew up in Italy so I take my pasta very seriously, but I typically try to branch out and make dishes from different cousines.
I am super excited to meet everyone and a great last year of college with you all!
Gabriel Cordova Vice President
Hi, I'm Gabe and I'm a senior computer engineering major born and raised in San Diego.
I was initiated into Tau Beta Pi Fall 2023, and I decided to become an officer to better my leadership skills and become more involved with Tau Beta Pi. In my free time, I enjoy rock climbing, going to the gym, listening to music, and hanging out with friends.
I'm looking forward to getting to meet everyone, and I'm excited for what this semester has to offer!
Sam Carmon Corresponding Secretary
Hello! I’m Sam Carmon (he/him) and I am the only person I know to have misspelled my name (Sma). In other news, I am a third year plugging away with the ultimate combo of a major in aerospace engineering and a minor in Latin American studies. AE because space is the place and LATAM because I actually had a great time in high school Spanish and love that stuff.
Extracurricularly, I am a big fan of having a kitchen and using it as well as thrifting books and astrophotography. I am also always down for a wide conversation on all things space and space exploration, Magic the Gathering, American public transit, or the pitfalls of mid 20th century Brutalist architecture.
With regards to Tau Beta Pi, I am pumped to be this year’s Corresponding Secretary and so excited also to be getting to know you all this year. Whoo!
And yes, I do work at Chick-fil-A.
