Meet the Officers

Courtney Chase President

Courtney Chase

Hi, I'm Courtney (she/her) and I am a fourth-year electrical engineering student with a minor in interdisciplinary studies. I hope to get my masters after completing my undergrad and want to one day work with electrical utilities.

Outside of school I enjoy hiking, crafting, baking (especially bagels, cinnamon rolls, and anything else that provides the satisfaction of waiting for the dough to rise), and playing with my two dogs, Murphy and Oswald. I love plants, so my window sills are covered in fun little pots. I've lived in San Diego all my life, but I can never remember street names, making me terrible at providing directions anywhere.

I am super excited to meet everyone and have a great year with you all!

I was initiated into Tau Beta Pi Fall 2023, and I decided to become an officer to better my leadership skills and become more involved with Tau Beta Pi. In my free time, I enjoy rock climbing, going to the gym, listening to music, and hanging out with friends.

I'm looking forward to getting to meet everyone, and I'm excited for what this semester has to offer!

Patricia Munn Announcement Coordinator

Patricia Munn

The Patricia Munn (latin name: Atriciapay Unnmay, she/her) is a rare species of mammal belonging to the computer engineering family. Indigenous to Los Angeles, they have been spotted in San Diego for five years nowand are mostly nocturnal.

Though much time is spent at the local watering hole, "the gym", their omnivorous diet paradoxically consists of mostly carbs. While their time is mainly spent preying on school work, they are sometimes known to target video games, basketball hoops, and circuits.

A sociable creature by nature, they become particularly animated when in an officer role and are noticeably happy to meet new members of the TBP flock.
