Sam Carmon President

Sam Carmon

Hello! I'm Sam Carmon (he/him) and I am pumped to be this year's President and so excited also to be getting to know you all this year. In other news, I am a senior plugging away with the ultimate combo of a major in aerospace engineering and a minor in Latin American studies.

Extracurricularly, I am a big fan of having a kitchen and using it as well as thrifting books and astrophotography. I am also always down for a wide conversation on all things space and space exploration, Magic: The Gathering, American public transit, or the pitfalls of mid 20th century Brutalist architecture.

Xander Vivo Announcement Coordinator

Xander Vivo

Hey! I'm Xander, a fourth-year from Concord, CA. I major in aerospace engineering with a minor in mathematics.

I'm an artist-at-heart that's always in search of creative outlets. I make music on FL Studio, illustrate artworks on Procreate, and coordinate an epic Dungeons & Dragons campaign. Much of my inspiration comes from the media I consume: video games, TV shows, the slop Instagram throws at midnight&emdash;anything can be used to inspire new thoughts or ideas.

I always feel at home in a dense, mountainous forest. I go camping above Yosemite each year to wade rivers, jump off rock walls, and enjoy the scenery at sunset. Horseflies and meat bees are my worst enemy.

I'll be one of the faces sending out emails for the chapter and am hyped to rock this position. I hope to hear from y'all this semester!
