[Staff] mySDSU Updates: Summer 23 Sessions, Feature Requests & Training Content Requests

Hello Faculty & Staff in Engineering,

The following updates were shared yesterday afternoon in the mySDSU Change
Ambassador meeting. You will note Summer 23 has a major update with
additional sessions being added; it is up to your department coordinator
and dept. chair should they want to make any changes to the sessions
already built. However, no changes are required. See updates below for
additional information.

Updates

   -

   mySDSU project team is working on an Access form in OnBase that users
   can use to request access in my.SDSU
   -

      Trying to get it out in the next couple of weeks
      -

      When you request roles you need or request it for someone else, it
      will look at who the access is for and will route to the supervisor for
      approval, then it will go to the team leads for the module you’re
      requesting for (ex: student records will go to Stephanie Anderson in the
      registrar), and once they approve it will go to access and security to
      grant the access
      -

      It should improve the current Adobe form
      -

      The form will only be available to the campus community
      -

   Addition of a couple of summer sessions for the summer term
   -

      For years SDSU has offered 3 summer sessions
      -

         One 12 week session and two 6 weeks sessions
         -

      *SDSU will be adding two additional sessions*
      -

Feature Requests for my.SDSU

   -

   Instead of requesting mySDSU feature requests through ServiceNow, please add
   any features or requests from units to Google doc:

Training Needs

   -

   Project team is working on more guides that will be added to the website
   soon
   -

   Also working on updating existing guides and adding additional student
   facing content
   -
