[Staff] Nominate Engineering Staff for Presidential Staff Excellence Awards!

Hi College of Engineering staff,

Happy Monday! Please read below to learn how to nominate one of your fellow
Engineering staff members for the Presidential Staff Excellence Awards. *Please
also feel free to forward to any student assistants, who are also welcome
to nominate staff members.* *Shout-out to Mechanical & Environmental Major
Advisor Leviticus Johnson for forwarding this announcement!*

The SDSU Staff Honors and Awards Committee (SHAC), in association with the
Office of the President, invites nominations for the Presidential Staff
Lifetime Achievement Award and Staff Excellence Awards from February 27th
through April 3, 2023.

The Presidential Staff Excellence Awards recognize the outstanding
contributions and efforts made by SDSU staff, administrators and auxiliary
staff in support of the university, the community and their fellow
employees. In addition to a private event with the university President,
awardees will receive a statuette and honorarium along with recognition
during the All-University Convocation in August.

Nominations are accepted for SDSU staff members who exemplify one or more
of the following
award categories:

* Community Service· Service to the University· Staff-to-Staff Mentoring –
within the department or cross-discipline· Innovation and Creativity· Team
Effort – within the department or cross-discipline· Auxiliary Support –
includes staff members of the Research Foundation, AztecShops and
Associated Students· Manager of the Year*

An individual may be nominated for more than one award category.
Self-nominations are accepted.

The deadline to submit nominations is* Monday, April 3, 2023 at 11:59 P.M.*
