[Staff] Fwd: Computer Inventory

To the College of Engineering Faculty and Staff:

Once every 3 years SDSU conducts an inventory of all state owned equipment.
The College of Engineering IT staff is requesting your assistance to locate
and identify any state owned devices that you may have in your possession *that
reside off campus* or that travel with you off campus.


Please bring your state owned *laptops, iPads, field equipment *and any
other *portable* devices that are marked with a yellow state EQUIPMENT
E-Tag (example E012345) to *ME Conference room **on either:*


*Tuesday February 25, 2014 from 9:00am to 12:00pm, **or*


*Wednesday February 26, 2014 from 12:00pm to 2:00pm*


Your portable equipment will be scanned in and you will fill out the "Off
Campus Use of Equipment Agreement".

You *do not* have to bring in *non-portable* devices such as computer
towers, however, you will need to email me the E-Tag number and description
of the non-portable devices that you have off campus.


You *do not* have to bring in *Foundation* owned devices which are
typically labeled with *white Foundation F-Tags(example  F012345)*


Your cooperation in this state inventory is greatly appreciated. If you
