Dear Faculty & Staff,

On Friday, August 27th from 11am to 12 noon Pacific Time, the SDSU
Computational Science Research Center and the SDSU Department of Aerospace
Engineering will jointly host a virtual seminar on "How to Prevent Direct
and Indirect SARS-CoV-2 Airborne Transmission", to be delivered by Prof.
Christian J. Kähler from the Bundeswehr University Munich, Germany. Prof.
Kähler is a world renowned fluid mechanics experimentalist spearheading the
effort in characterization of the aerosol transport behavior related to the
SARS-CoV-2 airborne transmission mechanism. We hope his talk can shed light
on the appropriate physical measures to be taken to curtail the spread of
the Covid pandemic.
