*WE BELIEVE meets JPL*

The WE BELIEVE (WomEn and Black Empowered Learners Interning in Engineering
EnVironmEnts) program and WE (Women in Engineering) at SDSU are hosting a
"superstar" speaker! Please join us to meet Deputy Carolina Barltrop from
NASA JPL, this Friday Aug.20th, 12.30-1.30pm.


The meeting will be held in-person (room E423B) for the WE BELIEVE students
and faculty participants and is open virtually to SDSU students and
Engineering faculty. There will be a final Q&A session, so please come
curious and prepared!

*“Superstar” Speaker Bio: *

Carolina Barltrop is the Europa Clipper Deputy Flight System Systems
Engineer.  She has worked at JPL for 20 years on a variety of missions
including the Mars Exploration Rovers, Deep Impact, Deep Space Atomic Clock
and Soil Moisture Active-Passive.  She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in
Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from the University of Illinois
at Urbana-Champaign and her Master’s degree from the University of Southern
California.  She is delighted to be able to share her journey of how she
joined JPL and what an amazing 20 years it has been!
