[Faculty] SDSU ID and Password

Dear Colleague,

By now you may have been asked to change your SDSU password.

As simple as it sounds, this is going to create headache for most of us
down the road. Because most of our wi-fi connected devices 'remember' the
password, when you change the password, you have to go through
device-specific settings before the new password can be used.

I just learned that every six months we will be asked to change the
password as dictated by Microsoft.

I hope you would agree with me that we will be collectively spending a lot
of time inventing new password and resetting all devices (phone, laptops,
tablets, etc.).

I would request appropriate College representatives to lodge a strong
protest. SDSU policy should not be upended by Microsoft.
