<div dir="ltr"><div>Dear Colleague,</div><div><br></div><div>By now you may have been asked to change your SDSU password. </div><div><br></div><div>As simple as it sounds, this is going to create headache for most of us down the road. Because most of our wi-fi connected devices 'remember' the password, when you change the password, you have to go through device-specific settings before the new password can be used. </div><div><br></div><div>I just learned that every six months we will be asked to change the password as dictated by Microsoft.</div><div><br></div><div>I hope you would agree with me that we will be collectively spending a lot of time inventing new password and resetting all devices (phone, laptops, tablets, etc.). </div><div><br></div><div>I would request appropriate College representatives to lodge a strong protest. SDSU policy should not be upended by Microsoft.</div><div><br></div><br clear="all"><div><div class="gmail_signature" data-smartmail="gmail_signature"><div dir="ltr"><div><div dir="ltr"><div>Thanks,</div><div><br></div><div>Sooby</div><div><br></div>Subrata (Sooby) Bhattacharjee, Ph.D., ASME Fellow<br>Professor, Mechanical Engineering Department<br>Affiliated Professor, Computer Science Department<br>San Diego State University<br><div><br></div><div><a href="mailto:prof.bhattacharjee@gmail.com" target="_blank">prof.bhattacharjee@gmail.com</a></div><div>Tel: (619)-594-6080; Fax: (619)-594-3599; Office: E323-K; Lab: E-331<br><br>Thermodynamics Courseware: <a href="http://www.thermofluids.net" target="_blank">http://www.thermofluids.net</a><div>Research Website: <a href="http://mechanical.sdsu.edu" target="_blank">http://flame.sdsu.edu</a><br><div><br></div><div><br></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div>
