 Monte,

I received the latest update from Chris Bronsdon regarding the 2013/14
equipment inventory.  8 items were located since we spoke in mid May
leaving a total of 61 items still missing.  As you know, unless the
equipment items are located they must be written off the inventory.  A step
that holds us all accountable for the loss.  If there is anything more that
your team can do to ensure the best outcome for the inventory process it
must be done swiftly.  Business Services and the Controller must close the
process and report the findings at the close of this fiscal year.

The updated list of Engineering's missing/unaccounted equipment is
attached.   If I can answer any questions please let me know.

Here are the lists for the Colleges of Sciences and Engineering. I will be
contacting each of their Dean's Office. Leslie and I may meet with one or
both of them to discuss if any more items can be located. As we discussed
yesterday, the Provost's Office will also need to approve the write-off of
any lost equipment. If there is anything we can do or provide in this
regard, please let us know.

Also, Leslie's team will be following-up on the e-mail that your provided
from College of HHS.
