Subject: Action Needed - Supervisor Confirmation for Electronic Time and
Attendance

 

Our new web-based time and attendance system, EmpCenter, will be going live
for all employees on May 16th. In order to ensure a successful transition
from paper to web-based time reporting, it is critical that we have the
correct supervisor identified for each employee. The supervisor is the
individual with day-to-day knowledge of work being performed who will be
responsible for reviewing and approving employee timesheets in EmpCenter. 

 

Please take a few minutes and log in to PI Profile to ensure that all of
your employees have been assigned to the appropriate supervisor.

 

The query to verify supervisor assignments can be accessed in PI Profile as
follows:

1) Log into PI Profile

2) Input user name and password. 

3) Select the Employee List link from the query menu on the fund detail
screen. 

4) Review employees and the designated supervisor identified on the screen.

5) If correct, no further action needed at this time.

6) If any changes are needed, please contact your HR business partner
immediately for assistance. The SDSURF HR department can be reached at
619-594-4139.
