Phone dead at 10 AM?

If your phone starts to die before your second cup of coffee you know
there¹s a problem. IMPAKTIV is a new Zahn Innovation Center team that is
developing a portable battery charger for your phone. Their product approach
is truly innovative. Most battery charges are too big and bulky making it
difficult to carry around. The IMPAKTIV charger is thin like your credit
card so that it fits in your wallet. As IMPAKTIV says, ³our products will
seamlessly fit within your lifestyle.² Their Kickstarter campaign is coming
soon stay tuned.

Aerospace engineers make 3D printer

3D printers are hot! This rapidly growing industry has spun out printers
as low as $600. Jennifer Wood from Alchemy3D explains that many new
printers are low cost because they use open source software. This translates
into a decrease in development cost but not necessarily an increase in
innovation. Alchemy3D, a new Zahn Innovation Center team comprised of SDSU
aerospace engineers, plans to change this. Alchemy3D is working on a
completely new method of printing that will render a greater quality and
reliability as well as a lower cost.
