Dear Colleagues,
This will be featured in the CIE newsletter but I wanted to make a special
request that you share and attend this event if you can. The line-up that
Virginia and her team in the APIDA Center have put together is amazing and
it would be great to have a similarly amazing turn-out. Thank you!!!

The SDSU APIDA Resource Center is hosting our inaugural APIDA conference on
Saturday, April 3, 2021 and Saturday, April 10, 2021 from 1:00-5:00pm. Our
theme is “APIDA Conference: Who Are We? 20/20 Vision: Looking Back and
Looking Forward.” The conference examines the impact of COVID-19 on APIDA
communities. Panel topics include: Minding our Mental Health, Denouncing
Discrimination, Perserverance in Politics, and Comfort in Community. In
addition, each day ends with a celebration of APIDA joy by featuring APIDA
musicians. The 2021 conference has an amazing lineup of speakers. All of the
speakers are experts in the fight against anti-Asian hate. Attending the
conference is one of the tasks required as part of the SDSU APIDA Pledge
