[Staff] Engineering Commencement and Marshals

COE Faculty and Staff:

Just a reminder that tomorrow, Saturday May 16th, is Engineering
Commencement at Viejas Arena.

The ceremony will begin at 5:30pm, however we process into the arena at
5:15pm. Thus, please arrive no later than 4:30pm.

VIP parking is available for all faculty and staff in PS 4 which you will
see upon entering from the south side and the arena may be accessed via L
Lot (directions attached). Enter the left side of the arena and proceed to
the North Corridor which is clearly labeled.

There are 21 faculty seats on stage (in addition to deans, chairs, award
recipients, and doctoral hooding faculty). If we run out of seats on stage
for faculty, the alternative is to sit with the graduates or on the side of
the arena floor.  Full academic regalia is mandatory if you are sitting on
stage or with the graduates.

Also, we still need one more marshal to lead graduates into the arena and
get them seated, so please let me know ASAP if you would like to take this
important role!

Thank you to Mark Bruno, Natasha Celise, and Thelma Chavez who have already
volunteered to serve as marshals!
