Just a reminder that nominations for the 2014-15 Senate Excellence in
Teaching Award are due to the Dean's Office, by 4:30pm, Friday, November
14th, 2014. Please turn them into Marcie, Room 203B or the Dean's Office
mailbox.

All members of the University community are invited to submit
nominations for the annual Senate Excellence in Teaching Award for the
2014-15 academic year. One distinguished SDSU faculty member will be
honored and will receive the title Senate Distinguished Professor.
The Senate Distinguished Professor is recognized for contributions made
to students, to the respective academic disciplines and to the campus
communities. The primary criterion of this award is the recognition of
teaching excellence.
All nominations and associated documents for the 2014-15 award must be
submitted to the dean of the faculty member's college by November 14,
2014. Each college will forward one nominee.
All college nominees will be honored at an awards ceremony, but only one
individual will receive the title Senate Distinguished Professor and
will present a public lecture as part of the ceremony. This individual
will also receive a cash award.
