for the annual Senate
Excellence in Teaching Award for the </span></p>

academic year. One
distinguished SDSU faculty member will be </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:rgb(34,34,34);font-family:Times,serif;font-size:13pt">honored
and will receive the title
Senate Distinguished Professor.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:rgb(34,34,34);font-family:Times,serif;font-size:13pt">The
Senate Distinguished Professor
is recognized for contributions made </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:rgb(34,34,34);font-family:Times,serif;font-size:13pt">to
students, to the respective
academic disciplines and to the campus </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:rgb(34,34,34);font-family:Times,serif;font-size:13pt">communities.
The primary criterion
of this award is the recognition of </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:rgb(34,34,34);font-family:Times,serif;font-size:13pt">teaching
excellence.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:rgb(34,34,34);font-family:Times,serif;font-size:13pt"><br>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:rgb(34,34,34);font-family:Times,serif;font-size:13pt">All
nominations and associated
documents for the 2014-15 award must be </span></p>

to the dean of the
faculty member's college by November 14, </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:rgb(34,34,34);font-family:Times,serif;font-size:13pt">2014.
Each college will
forward one nominee. <br>

college nominees will be
honored at an awards ceremony, but only one </span></p>

will receive the title
Senate Distinguished Professor and </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:rgb(34,34,34);font-family:Times,serif;font-size:13pt">will
present a public lecture as
part of the ceremony. This individual </span></p>

also receive a cash award.</span></p>
