[Staff] Senior Director of Development for the College of Engineering

I am happy to announce that after several external searches, Brian Daly has
agreed to transition from the Zahn Center to the position of Senior
Director of Development for the College of Engineering.

Before joining SDSU last year, Brian served in a wide variety of leadership
positions in fundraising, including 21 years at UC San Diego.  There, he
focused on major-gift development - defined as gifts of $25,000 to $1M or
greater - for academic research and student affairs, often working directly
with University leaders, including former Chancellors Bob Dynes and
Maryanne Fox.

Effective immediately, Brian will work closely with the Dean's office, as
well as other faculty and staff across the Engineering departments and
other units, to advance our fundraising efforts and expand the College's
circle of donors and friends in the community.
