To Engineering Faculty and Staff:
Several of you inquired about the accessibility to the Engineering Building
and requested further details. I am forwarding you an email I received from
Facilities Services that I hope provides you with answers to your
questions.
Thanks,
Monte

Thank you for the Dept. notification. To be more specific the week of 12-23
/ 29, the majority of the renovation will take place during regular working
hours and the 2nd floor will be closed. Starting Monday the 30th there may
be some construction environments during the days but full access to the
building will be open. Work to be complete will take place off hours or in
an isolated and confined area which shouldn't affect the occupants. I gave
the extended date of 1-17-14 for long lead items but the renovation for the
most part will be done by 1-6-14. The abatement starting this Friday is
still accurate.
