2012 Campus Strategic Planning Process

 

Dear Staff Affairs Committee Members, Staff Senators, and Staff
Representatives on Senate and Senate Appointed Committee-

By Monday, the Senate Chair will be requesting nominations for faculty and
staff to serve on campus strategic planning committees.

There are a limited number of spots for staff. Below are a list of  staff
members who are already nominated to the available committees.

Chris Turntine- Diversity Task-force
Danielle Ingoglia- Campus Climate Working Group
Aracely Bojorquez- Student Success Task-force
Micheal Bayliss- Economic Development Working Group
Dr. Teresa Cisneros-Donahue Internationalization Task-force

The Staff Affairs Committee is going to take additional nominations for each
of these committees. If there is more than one person for any of these seats
the Staff Affairs Committee will hold e-mail election. If only one person is
nominated, that nomination will stand and we will recommend these staff
members (as the Staff Affairs Committee) to the Senate for appointment.
Please note that we will do this by Wednesday, August 29.The Senate meets on
September 4 and we need to put this on the agenda or ask for the waiving of
the four day rule. 

The faculty are going through a similar process.
