[Staff] tally of nominations for final vote

This is a follow on to the earlier email concerning one staff person to
serve on the five year review of David Hayhurst as Dean of Engineering.

A total of nine names were nominated. It is time to select four names from
those nine nominations by the staff to create the short list for submission
to Nancy Marlin. Remember only one of those four will be on the final
panel.

Attached is a Word document listing the names nominated. I was happy to see
most everyone responding, and in one case a person was nominated by 10 of
you, so very popular early on.

Look over the attached list, put a "YES" vote after four names (maximum)
add your name to the top, and send back to me.

By a week from now I will tally and forward results of the staff selected
four names.

Meanwhile similar down selection process is going to happen in faculty and
student ranks.
