[Staff] Power Outage

I have just received an update from Academic Affairs regarding the campus
closure. The Provost has informed me that Friday evening classes have
officially been canceled. Students will receive  notification by e-mail. She
has further indicated  that, as of now, Saturday classes will be held as
scheduled.

 

To the best of my knowledge, approximately 2/3 of the campus, including
Engineering, never lost electric power. Please let me know of any issues
(particularly safety issues) that resulted from the power outage. I will let
you know if I receive any further updates.
