[Faculty] URGENT: CoE Assigned-Time Policy Revision

Dear Ashkan ,

Thank you for your message.

I was involved with the revised version of the assigned time policy.

The point you bring up regarding College of Science (COS) assigned time
policy is certainly valid. I don't know about other members of CBL
committee but I personally think if we take a few weeks more to review the
COS  we would be better off in providing the faculty a more encompassing
policy. Whether we like it or not 'so far🙂' COS is the gold standard at
SDSU for research.

I have seen first hand that CBL committee members have worked very hard and
maticulously in revising the first document. I think though considering the
COS policy would not hurt, i.e.we could potentially benefit from it.
