Dear HBCU/MI Community and Allies,
I hope this message reaches everyone well!
I’m writing to share that the Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) for the *FY23
Naval Engineering Education Consortium (NEEC)* - *NSWC IHD BAA
N00174-23-0001 *- is active on Grants.gov at the following link:
https://www.grants.gov/web/grants/search-grants.html?keywords=NEEC
The central focus of NEEC is supporting project-based research at
Institutions of Higher Education that target the Navy’s technology needs
and cultivate a world-class Naval Engineering workforce. NEEC awards are
approximately $100K to $150K total for the first year with two option
years. If funded for three years, total awards are estimated to range from
$300K to $450K.
NEEC is a Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) program and Ms. Sally
Sutherland (cc'd) is the Director. Please note, because the DoN HBCU/MI
Program does not run NEEC, our office is not the optimal point of contact.
More detailed information regarding eligibility, BAA research topics,
review criteria, and other pertinent matters can be found at the link
above; please be sure to read the announcement carefully. *The due date
for proposals is October 17, 2022*.
For a general overview of NEEC, please visit the program's homepage at the
following link:

Please share amongst your colleagues and feel free to distribute this
message across your networks.
All the best,
Cyntrica
