has substantially expanded my horizons as a researcher. Among other things,
it has helped me to develop my skills in grant writing. John is an
excellent director for this program: he not only possesses the necessary
knowledge about funding and grant writing, but also the pedagogical skills
to communicate it to the workshop participants, plus a nice, friendly and
