[Faculty] Important - 2020 State equipment inventory (Laptops, Ultrabooks, Tablets, etc.)

Greetings College of Engineering Faculty and Staff:



It is time again for SDSU to conduct its *inventory audit* of all
*State-owned* equipment.  This is done once every 3 years.



Your assistance is requested to locate and bring any state-owned devices
that you may have in your possession *that reside OFF-campus (at
home)* or *that
travels with you OFF-campus*.



Please alert your *GA*s if they have any of these State-owned devices in
their possession.



Your State-owned *laptops, notebooks, ultrabooks, tablets, scientific field
equipment *or any other *portable devices* that are typically not on
campus.



Bring only items that are tagged with a yellow state barcoded sticker that
looks like this:

Please still bring the equipment even if the label is damaged or peeled off.



Please be prepared to spend 10 to 20 minutes with us so that your laptop
could be synchronized with campus Active Directory, and updated with any
latest firmware updates. If it is going to take longer than expected, we
will make a separate appointment with you.
