Advisers): Double Major Degree Evaluations



Dear campus advisers,

I am happy to announce that degree evaluations for double majors will now
be available online!  The degree evaluation, which both you and students
can access at any time in the SDSU WebPortal
<https://sunspot.sdsu.edu/pls/webapp/web_menu.login/>, is an academic
advising tool that shows how students’ coursework and test scores are used
to meet degree graduation, general education, and major requirements. Visit
the Understanding the Degree Evaluation
<https://advising.sdsu.edu/academic_success/understanding_degree_evaluation>
web page to review a tutorial, which explains how to use the Degree
Evaluation and includes frequently asked questions.



The degree evaluations for double majors will look similar to what you are
accustomed to viewing online when students have one major; there are charts
and graphs to help track progress, and you are able to view an in-progress
double major degree evaluation.  We recently started releasing the online
degree evaluations for double majors, and will continue to do so.



Please let me know if you have any questions and refer students to meet
with an adviser in the Academic Advising Center <https://advising.sdsu.edu/>
if they have any questions about their degree evaluation. Lastly, please
