Dear Colleagues:

I hope you are well. I am the inaugural Executive Director of STEM-NET, the
newest Multi-Campus Collaboration (Affinity Group) that potentially
constitutes the most extensive group since all 23 campuses will be members.
Its vision is to make the CSU a worldwide leader in increasing the
pipeline, preparation, graduation and employment of outstanding, diverse
STEM students. Our mission is to enable CSU STEM leaders, like yourself, to
share expertise and leverage system-wide opportunities to foster the
implementation of global best practices for our students and faculty in
pedagogy, learning and research related to STEM fields within the CSU
system.

I am writing to inform you that on Thursday, October 10 @ 10 am we will be
having a webcast entitled *“Improving Undergraduate STEM Education:
Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSI Program) Proposal Development Success
Stories”.* Attached is a flyer on the program. Please distribute this email
widely across your campus to anyone who may be interested in the
presentation content (pre-award/post-award, Associate/Assistant Deans of
research, Faculty research mentors, Research office staff, College/School
Deans, Department chairs, Research Center/Institute administrators, etc.).
The presentations are for an audience of professionals who contribute to
grant proposal development, research strategies, collaboration building,
outreach and communication, etc.
