Request for Proposal

The Sustainable Energy Center of SDSU-IV requests a two-page proposal to fund projects broadly related to energy research that benefit, or are tied to the Imperial Valley in Southern California.  There is a total of $75K to fund 3 or 4 projects.  The fund can be used to compensate students working on the project, to cover local transportation to Imperial Valley, and to purchase equipment for the research.  Please submit your two-page proposal with a third budget page to Araceli Saucedo,  <mailto:asaucedo at sdsu.edu> asaucedo at sdsu.edu before noon, August 31, 2018 for full consideration.  Funding will be available for winning projects before the end of October.

 

Evaluation Criteria

1.      Creativity, originality of the project, and its broader impact, (40 points)

2.      A plan for carrying out the proposed activities in Imperial Valley (20 points)

3.      Qualification(s) of the individual or team members, (20 points)

4.      Student involvement, (10 points)

5.      SDSU and SDSU-IV faculty collaboration, (10 points)
