research experience while working side-by-side with NASA's finest scientists

"Grant Us Space"


DUE DATE: 2/2/11

The National Space Grant College and Fellowship Program in partnership with
NASA's Reduced Gravity Education Flight Program announces the opportunity
for students attending colleges and universities affiliated with Space Grant
consortia to conduct research in a unique reduced gravity environment.

The "Grant Us Space" opportunity will enable selected student teams the
opportunity to propose, design and fabricate a reduced gravity experiment
and subsequently test and evaluate their experiment aboard a microgravity
aircraft, which flies about 30 roller-coaster-like climbs and dips to
produce periods of micro and hyper gravity, ranging from 0 g's to 2 g's.

Science Fellowship (NESSF) Program

DUE DATE: 2/1/11
NASA announces a call for graduate fellowship proposals to the NASA Earth
and Space Science Fellowship (NESSF) program for the 2011-2012 academic
year.  This call for fellowship proposals solicits applications from
accredited U.S. universities on behalf of individuals pursuing Master of
Science (M.Sc.) or Doctoral (Ph.D.) degrees in Earth and space sciences, or
related disciplines.  The purpose of NESSF is to ensure continued training
of a highly qualified workforce in disciplines needed to achieve NASA's
scientific goals.  Awards resulting from the competitive selection will be
made in the form of training grants to the respective universities.
