I am currently an assistant professor in Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at San Diego State University. Previously, I was a postdoctoral researcher in Computer Science and Engineering Department at University of California,San Diego. I obtained my PhD degree from the same university in March 2015. My advisor was Prof. Tajana Rosing. I was a member of System Energy Efficiency Lab (Seelab). My research interests are energy efficiency and peak power management of large scale systems (data centers and smart grids in particular), parallel and distributed computing and data analysis. Currently, I am working on smart and efficient battery use in a smart grid, specifically focusing on end-users, peak power management and efficient control & distribution of energy in a smart grid.
