There should be no disruptions/access issues to the labs, offices and classrooms, however there may be smells, dust and construction related sounds. Our contractor, Kitchell, will be drilling through the roofing material to the concrete roof-deck to determine existing overall roof slope, and then they will back-fill the survey drill-holes. As a result of these activities, there may be smells, dust and sawing-related-sounds. We conducted a hazardous materials survey, and the roofing material has no hazardous materials present. The contractor estimates that the survey may take up to a week to complete. <u></u><u></u></p><p class="MsoNormal"><u></u> <u></u></p><p class="MsoNormal">On <b>Tuesday 2-Feb-2016 </b>the Contractor and Faculties Services representatives<b> </b>we will check mechanical, electrical and plumbing related switches/gear on the roof that we may need to be shut down during roof replacement project. <u></u><u></u></p><p class="MsoNormal"><u></u> <u></u></p><p class="MsoNormal">Roof Replacement is estimated to start 16-May-2016 and to be complete by 01-Aug-2016.
