[Staff] College of Engineering Diversity Council - Staff Rep. Needed

Dear College of Engineering Staff members,

The formation of diversity councils for each college and unit have been
strongly encouraged by the SDSU Office of Diversity and Inclusion.  A
representative and focused diversity council can be instrumental in
supporting diversity, inclusion and equity, can help coordinate diversity
and inclusion activities within the college and support the development of
diversity plans that are tailored to meet the needs of the College of
Engineering. The CoE Executive Committee has agreed to form the CoE
Diversity Council as an ad-hoc committee to be formed by end of spring
2019.  This council will begin meeting in the fall 2019.

The CoE Diversity Council will include one member of the CoE staff.  If you
are interested in participating on this committee, please respond to this
email by 2pm on Monday, May 13th, to be considered.  The Executive
Committee will make a selection at the next meeting on May 15, 2019.
