The Center for Human Dynamics in the Mobile Age Presents the Spring 2019
Lightning Talks March 29 (Friday) and April 19 (Friday)

11:00am – 12:00pm

Location: Communication Room 209 (School of Communication Seminar Room).
This Talk Series is open to all SDSU faculty members, students, and
researchers.

receive permission from the speakers.

1.     Dr. Chris Werry (Rhetoric & Writing Studies): “Critical Digital
Literacy and G.E.: Reimagining Rhetorical Education @ SDSU.”

2.     Dr. Noe Crespo (Public Health): “Effects of Playing Pokémon Go on
Physical Activity.”

3.     Dr. Ming-Hsiang Tsou (Geography): “Developing a Health Science
Knowledge Repository and Open Data Portal.”

 

Speakers on April 19 (Friday) 2019 at 11:00am:

1.  Dr. Atsushi Nara (Geography): “Spatiotemporal Data Analytics on Large
Event Data.”

2.  Dr. Baris Aksanli (Electrical & Computer Engineering):

“Ambient Sensing for Human Activity Detection.”

3.  Dr. Eric Buhi (Public Health): “Your In-Home Sex Educator: The Accuracy
of Alexa, Siri, and Other Smart Assistants in Providing Sexuality and Sexual
