*Dan and Ann Brown Make Gift to Establish Research Fund*
On behalf of the College of Engineering, we are pleased to announce that a
generous gift from Dan and Ann Brown has been received to support the
College of Engineering. The $55,000 gift will establish the Dan and Ann
Brown Research Fund. This gift will provide for faculty salaries,
research, education, travel and graduate assistant support in perpetuity
within the College of Engineering. In recognition of their generosity, a
naming in the Engineering and Interdisciplinary Sciences Complex is being
established.
Dan Brown, Ph.D. is Vice President of Technology Development at ASML US.
Dan has a Ph.D. in Laser Physics and a B.S. in Physics from the University
of New England, New South Wales, Australia. He is a friend of SDSU and
serves on the College of Engineering Dean’s Advisory Board.
If you happen to see Dan or Ann at an industry event, campus activity or
national meeting, please feel free to express gratitude on behalf of the
University. Philanthropic dollars provide much needed support for faculty,
staff and students.
**Special thanks to Carolyn Wheeler for championing this gift.*
