Subject: UNDERGRADUATE-CAMPUS-ADVISERS-HR (Undergraduate Campus Advisers):
Course Forgiveness
To:
Dear Campus Advisers,
The Office of the Registrar applied course forgiveness automatically for
eligible* fall 2018 repeated courses. Moving forward, course forgiveness
will continue to be applied automatically if enrollment is identified as a
repeated course attempt.
Students will continue to use the WebPortal to file a retroactive course
forgiveness. The $20 fee for retroactive course forgiveness has been
eliminated.
Students with questions about course forgiveness (including requests for
consideration to adjust a course forgiveness applied automatically) should
be referred to meet with an academic adviser in the Office of Advising and
Evaluations. <https://advising.sdsu.edu/>
*See the General Catalog for information about course forgiveness and note
there are no changes to the policy (e.g. maximum number of units allowed
for course forgiveness, etc).
Please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions.
