Greetings College of Engineering Faculty and Staff,
Beginning this fall semester, all workstations running a Microsoft
Windows operating system in College of Engineering computer laboratory
rooms E108, E207, E218, E220, E221, E301, and PS231, will use the
university centrally managed "ID Domain" for authentication and
authorization.
Faculty and students will no longer require an "Engineering Domain"
username and password to login to workstations in the aforementioned
laboratories. Instead, faculty and students will use their "SDSUid"
username and password to login.
If you have yet to acquire your SDSUid credentials, will be teaching a
course in any of these seven rooms, and need access to the instructor's
workstation, please obtain your credentials by activating your SDSUid
account following instructions on page
http://it.sdsu.edu/sdsuid/faculty-staff-activation.aspx
Students can activate their SDSUid credentials via
https://getid.sdsu.edu
Please contact me if you have any questions regarding the SDSUid
identifier service.
Sincerely,
Chris
