[Staff] FW: Explore SDSU 2015 volunteer request

You may have received the email below asking for volunteers, if not – see below.  Please note: as stated on the announcement below, if you are planning to volunteer for our College of Engineering Village, you don’t need to sign up at the link specified below.  

 

The College of Engineering definitely needs volunteers like you to help take families to the various workshops, demonstrations, etc. and for information purposes in our Village, which will be in front of the engineering building and throughout the building.  If you would like to volunteer on Explore SDSU Day for the college of engineering, please let Donovan know, at dgeiger at mail.sdsu.edu.  It is important to note that we are unable to offer compensation time as we’ve done in the past.  I hope you find it rewarding to spend some time with us and will volunteer to share with the community the exciting work we’re doing in engineering. 

 

Faculty – coordinate within your department to have 3-4  30-minute demonstrations or workshops 

Staff – we need volunteers to answer questions, lead groups to various demonstrations/workshops, etc.
