[Staff] The CoE Unified Assigned Time Policy

To Engineering Faculty:

The result of the faculty vote for the CoE Unified Assigned Time Policy is
as follows:

44 YES
6    NO
6    ABSENT (did not vote)

Since the total number of tenured/tenure-track faculty in the CoE, in Fall
2015, is 60 and there are 4 faculty who are ineligible to vote (2 are on
sabbatical, 1 is on FERP this Fall, and one is on overseas assignment), the
total number of eligible faculty to vote on this policy is 56.  In terms of
percentage of eligible faculty, the result is:

78.6% YES
10.7%  NO
10.7%  ABSENT (did not vote)

Therefore, the policy is passed and is now a part of the Policy File of the
College of Engineering. The Policy is attached for your records.

Thank you very much for your participation in creating the first unified
assigned time policy for the College of Engineering.
