Also, thanks to Chris Paolini for  fixing the problem with the CCEE and MEP
sites so quickly; these sites are now fully functional.  I have updated all
links that I can find on the site; if you come across a link that is not

To College Faculty and Staff,

 

This is to announce that the new College of Engineering website is now live
at www.engineering.sdsu.edu.

 

Thanks to all of you who provided input and assistance on the first phase of
this project.

 

The next few weeks will be a time of fine-tuning: making corrections and
adding content that was not ready by Friday (Faculty Awards of Distinction
is an example).

 

As always, I welcome your input, especially in the following areas:

-          Corrections needed - to correct facts, typos, spacing, general
appearance etc.

-          Information that should be added (a small bit of additional info
on a page, or whole content areas)

-          Suggestions for improved usability or navigation.

-          Anything else  ???

 

Also, the switch-over has created a problem accessing other sites that are
housed on the engineering.sdsu.edu server:  CCEE and MEP are examples.
Chris Paolini is working to correct these problems; resolution is expected
this week, hopefully in a day or so.  Chairs/contacts in each of these
programs were previously notified that there sites would be temporarily
down.
