OBJECTIVES:   The awards are designed to further the
education<br>
and training of the applicant with primary emphasis placed on the<br>
individual's research promise. <br><br>
ELIGIBILITY<br>
 Eligible applicants must have received their doctoral degree
within<br>
the past two to three years. Scholars must have a command of the<br>
English language. <br><br>
FUNDING<br>
 Recipients will receive a stipend of $56,000 per year for an<br>
eighteen month appointment, plus a relocation allowance. All<br>
appointees are eligible for group health and dental insurance. In<br>
addition, limited support is available for travel expenses,
equipment,<br>
