<b>The Speer Aerospace Engineering Scholarship is provided through an
endowment created by the Speer Family in 2004 to support aspiring
undergraduate students pursuing an aerospace engineering degree at San
Diego State University. The recipient of this scholarship can receive up
to $4000 per year. The scholarships will be disbursed evenly in the fall
and spring academic terms. The selection of scholarship recipients will
be conducted during the spring semester prior to the academic year in
which the scholarship funds will be paid</b>.<br>

<b>Selection criteria:<br>
</b>· <b>Aerospace Engineering
undergraduate student with sophomore or higher level standing. <br>
</b>· <b>GPA of 3.0 /4.0 or higher
<br>
</b>· <b>A clear demonstration of
commitment and a desire to excel in their future career in aerospace
engineering. <br>
</b>· <b>Demonstration of financial
need, as defined by the SDSU Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships, is
<u>not</u> required for consideration.<br><br>
