ELIGIBILITY<br>
 Eligible applicants are uundergraduate and graduate students;<br>
postgraduates (BS, MS, and PhDs)who have completed degree within the<br>
last five years; college or university full-time faculty; K-12<br>
educators; and other scientists.  Applicants must be U.S.<br>
citizens. <br><br>
<br>
FUNDING<br>
 Stipends are based on research area(s) and academic
classification.<br>
Faculty appointment stipends are based on regular salary.
Appointments<br>
may be full-time or part-time, and range up to one year.
Appointments<br>
are renewable up to a total of three years full-time participation
for<br>
postgraduates, or up to a total of five years full-time
participation<br>
