and Kristen J. Wells) was established in 2018 with funding from NIMHD to enhance the infrastructure and capacity for minorit</span><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;color:black">y health and health disparities (MHHD) research at
SDSU and our organizational partners. To date, we have completed numerous Center goals, including creation of the clinical research center housing research facilities to meet a range of research needs; supporting two NIH R01-type research projects; supporting
16 early career investigators with pilot research funding, mentorship, and career development; engaging with numerous partner organizations in the San Diego Imperial County communities to address health disparities; developing research services across a range
