<b>Norval Hickman, MPH, PhD</b>
</div>

In his role as program officer with TRDRP, Dr. Hickman has overseen a growing research grant portfolio that includes tobacco-related, community-based participatory research and clinical systems change projects focused on reducing disparities and influencing tobacco control policy as a social justice issue. He frequently presents to
<br>community-based research and health care organizations the scientific evidence on the impact of tobacco-related health disparities; psychological correlates; and the social determinants of health
<br>associated with tobacco marketing, use, and tobacco-related disease.

<b>Leslie Platz Bennett, JD</b>
</div>
<p>Leslie Bennett is a pre-award proposal Development Specialist with the SDSU Research Foundation. In her role, Leslie works closely with a diverse range of SDSU faculty, including a number of current TRDRP funded PIs, throughout the proposal development and pre-award process. She has been with SDSURF for the past 4 years.</p>

<p><b>Georg Matt, PhD</b><br>Dr. Georg Matt is a Professor of Psychology at SDSU. Dr. Matt's program of research examines multiple pathways of human exposure to tobacco smoke toxicants and evaluates policies aimed at protecting nonsmokers from their harmful effects. His research lab was among the first to examine how microenvironments, such as private homes and cars, hotel rooms, and rental cars, become contaminated with tobacco smoke pollutants (i.e., thirdhand smoke), how nonsmokers are involuntarily exposed to these pollutants long after a cigarette has been extinguished, and how to better protect nonsmokers from involuntary exposure to the toxic legacy left behind by tobacco smoke. A second line of research aims to improve the validity of self-reports, especially retrospective quantitative estimates, by developing measurement strategies that rely on cognitive models of information processing (e.g., fuzzy set models). </p>

<b>Eunha Hoh, PhD</b>
<br>Dr. Eunha Hoh is a Professor of Environmental Health at the School of Public Health. Dr. Hoh has developed novel analytical methods, which include fast and efficient analyses of multiple classes of targeted chemical residues and a non-targeted analytical approach for organic compounds of interest in food and environmental samples. She was one of six PIs of the Scripps Center for Oceans and Human Health. She is a Scientific Guidance Panel member for the California Environmental Contaminant Biomonitoring Program. As a member of the Thirdhand Smoke Research Consortium, she also serves as a lead researcher with the Thirdhand Smoke Resource Center.
