In this role, he manages the Alumni Relations and Development departments and leads campaign planning. In preparation for the public launch of a fundraising campaign, Dr. Perry partnered with the Provost, Chief Research Officer, and Vice President for University Advancement to lead a Big Ideas initiative at Texas State to align campaign fundraising with academic and research priorities. He holds a B.A. in Sociology from the University of California at Davis, a M.A. in International Relations from the University of Denver, and a Ph.D. in Education from Texas State University.</div><div><br></div><div>Immediately after the Forum, we will host six Big Ideas workshop/discussions for interested individuals to gather and discuss broad themes in small groups. Conference rooms in nearby buildings have been reserved from 12:30 – 2:00 p.m. Sandwiches, chips and drinks will be provided.
