<div dir="ltr"><div dir="ltr" class="gmail_signature" data-smartmail="gmail_signature"><div dir="ltr"><div dir="ltr"><div dir="ltr"><div dir="ltr"><div>To:  All SDSU Engineering Faculty, Staff and Dean’s Advisory Board</div><div>From:  Interim Dean Eugene Olevsky</div><div>Aerospace Department Chair Dr. Ping Lu</div><div>Senior Director of Development Kate Carinder</div><div><br></div><div style="text-align:center"><b>Gift Announcement - NCRF donates $264,000 Mobile Operations Central Assembly Trailer</b></div><div style="text-align:center"><b>(MOCAT) for SDSU Rocket Project</b></div><div><br></div><div><div><img src="cid:ii_jnf5ax540" alt="image.png" width="562" height="153"><br></div></div><div>On behalf of the Aerospace Department, we are pleased to announce that the National College Resources Foundation (NCRF) under the direction of Dr. Theresa Price has gifted a Mobile Operations Central Assembly Trailer (MOCAT) valued at $264,000 to SDSU’s Rocket Project.</div><div>The MOCAT will be used by the Rocket Project to transport rockets and other test equipment. Its flexible interior design will allow it to be used as a mobile laboratory and traveling classroom.</div><div>Dr. Theresa Price founded the NCRF, based in Diamond Bar, CA to enhance education, curtail the high school dropout rate and increase degree and/or certificate enrollment among underserved and underrepresented students.  The NCRF has helped over 500,000 students get into college, has helped students secure over $500 million in scholarships and grants and has increased graduation rates by 20% in schools served by the NCRF.</div><div>If you happen to see Dr. Theresa Price at a national meeting, an industry event, campus happening, etc., please feel free to express your appreciation for the NCRF’s support of SDSU’s Rocket Project.<br></div></div></div></div></div></div></div>
