REMINDER</b><br>

All members of the University community are invited to submit
nominations for the annual <i>Senate Excellence in Teaching
Award</i> for the 2017-18 academic year.<span> </span>One
distinguished SDSU faculty member will be honored and receive
the title <i>S</i><i>enate Distinguished Professor</i>. <b>Qualified
nominees may be tenured, tenure-track (probationary), or
FERP. </b><b><br>
</b><b> </b><br>
The <i>Senate Distinguished Professor </i>is recognized for
contributions made to students, respective academic
disciplines, and the campus communities. The primary criterion
of this award is teaching excellence. <br>
<br>
<b>The deadline for nominations is Tuesday, November 21.</b>
Each nominee choosing to move forward must submit his/her
materials to his/her College Dean by December 20, 2017; e<span></span>ach
College will forward <u><b>one</b></u> nominee.<span> </span><span></span><br>
<br>
All College nominees will be honored at an awards ceremony,
but <u>only one individual</u> will receive the title <i>Senate
Distinguished Professor </i>and present a public lecture as
part of the ceremony.<span> </span>This individual will also
receive a cash award. <br>
