This committee selects faculty submitted proposals to move through the legislative process. In essence, this is a proposal for California legislation that mandates the percentage of the operational CSU budget going to instruction be raised from the current (atrocious) 34% to at least the 53% level of the early 1990’s, by yearly increments of about 3%.<br><br>I feel that the proposal will have a much stronger chance of success if it gains support from a significant number of faculty here at SDSU (and possibly at other campuses). Therefore if you support this proposal I ask that you co-sponsor it by adding your name. If you are willing to do so, please simply reply to me by email. You do not have to be a CFA member to be a co-signer.
