I’m hoping that you folks can get the word out to your international scholars that if “anyone” calls and asks for a social security number or any private/personal information about them or their family, to please let this office know immediately. The caller may sound official, and may even be intimidating, but no one should be giving out this type of information via the phone, email, or U.S. mail.
