A friendly reminder to RSVP to *Attend Dr. Ellen Ochoa’s Honorary Naming
Dedication* on Friday, May 5th at 11:00am in front of West Commons.



Dear SDSU Community,

You are invited to attend the community event to celebrate Dr. Ellen Ochoa,
who we are honoring with the renaming of West Commons. Dr. Ochoa, an SDSU
alumnus, is being recognized with this unique honor given her incredible
contributions to education and science, and unique distinction within her
field.

To honor Dr. Ochoa

The First Hispanic Female Astronaut and
Former Director of NASA’s Johnson Space Center

The Honorary Naming Dedication will be held

Friday, May 5, 2023

11-11:30 a.m.
West Commons
San Diego State University
A reception will follow the ceremony.
