Dear CoE Faculty & Staff,


Please read the below announcement from Cali Linfor, SDSU Professor of
Equity, regarding the *Here and Queer Creative Space* Fall Events.


*Here & Queer Creative Space*

Hosted by a queer poet faculty member, we will discuss what it means to be
LGBTQIA+ in academia and center expression via poetry and collage for SDSU
staff and faculty. Each session will have a prompt for our conversation and
to guide our collective and individual making.

In a set of 3 meetings in Fall with more possible in Spring 2023, this
space hopes to curate a community that both nourishes and restores,
celebrates and witnesses through co creation what it means to be queer and
here in this moment, in this place, with multiple intersecting identities
and with each other.

Participants must be able to attend a minimum of 2 sessions.

Meeting Dates: 10/26/22, 11/9/22, 11/30/22

Time and Day: 3 Wednesdays, 4 pm-5:30 pm

Location: Pride Center Multipurpose Room
